Logiq Loop is a web-based EDI solution that enables suppliers to meet any EDI trading partner requirements.

For some companies, a web-based EDI solution can be the solution in order to meet the requirements of their business partners. It is not given that you are able to set up a full-scale EDI integration towards your internal systems, and your systems may not support all the documents required.

The functionality of the service

Logiq Loop is a complete web-based EDI solution supporting creation and exchange of digital trade documents.

The functionality includes:

  • Receive electronic Orders as EDI, or through mail with PDF
  • Create and send Order Responses based on revceived orders
  • Create and send Dispatch Advice based on order information
  • Create and send Invoices for the orders you have sent

To support a smooth process, Loop lets you “flip” the Order to generate an Order Response (and further to a Dispatch Advice and Invoice). This reduces the amount of manual punching required, while you still get the flexibility to make necessary changes and alterations in the documents.

Why support for for Dispatch Advice

Logiq Loop is built to support the Dispatch Advice messages required in several industries, including the construction- and building materials industry. These messages are used in the fulfillment process by the supplier, in order to notify the receiver about the dispatch and delivery of the goods being sent. In addition, the message includes details about the goods for verification against the order, and details about how the goods are packed. Loop supports Dispatch Advice on level 3, which means it contains detailed information about all product lines on the pallet and SSCC for pallet, to enable automated goods receipt.

With Loop, suppliers can produce a Dispatch Advice through the web-based interface, and send this electronically to the receipient through EDI. The solution also includes integration with label printers, in order to support printing of valid labels to be pasted on the pallet (for scanning upon receipt).

Stand-alone or partly integrated with your existing EDI flow

For suppliers that already have support for parts of the trade messages in existing EDI flows, Logiq Loop can be used for the parts that are unsupported. If a supplier can receive EDI orders but not respond with EDI order confirmations, Logiq Loop can be used to connect to the order flow and support further processing. In this case, the supplier will use the portal only for order confirmations, whereas orders are received as previously in the internal systems.

Similarily, Logiq Loop can be used to create and sende Dispatch Advice, as Orders and Order Confirmations sent through EDI flows are “archived” in the Loop portal. These can then be used to support the work with Dispatch Advice in the portal.
