There are many definitions of BI (Business Intelligence), but the most important is decision support based on data. Today’s solutions make it possible for everyone to make the right choices based on the analysis reliable data. Invoices are often the key gain insights into your purchasing and sales.

With Logiq Insights, our version of BI, we use techniques and tools to leverage the data in your trade documents to provide more meaningful information, supporting business understanding and decision support.

Invoices via Logiq enables insight

When all trade documents (sent and received) are channeled through Logiq, you have the opportunity to utilize the data that exist in these invoices. You can explore questions such as:

• Do we have an overview of all our purchases?
• Do we have access to all orders that are made in the various projects?
• Are the framework agreements used as expected by the chain members?
• Do we have an overview of which goods sell the most in the different parts of the country?
• Do we have statistics on the buying pattern of the various customers? When is it appropriate to promote special items and have promotions?

The basis for such insight is to start with good data, which you can find in the flow of digital trade documents. For this reason, the quality of the data in the solution depends on the relevant transactions being processed by Logiq, and that they contain sufficient information.

2 levels of insight

Good use of business intelligence is when all users of data are presented with the information they want, in their preferred format. Logiq Insights can be delivered in 2 tiers: either as structured files, or as an integrated solution in Power BI that you are free to further develop in collaboration with our partners.

Insight Tier 1

Tier 1 provides access to an API where you can download your data from Logiq’s database, for use in your own reporting or BI tools. This function returns a structured file for each document located in our data storage hub. This tier is often used to add an additional data source for an existing solution.

Insight Tier 2

Tier 2 provides access to a full version of Power BI where Logiq delivers four (4) standard reports. These reports can be customized and enriched by you according to your own needs. New reports can also be built and other data sources can be included to enrich the model even more. This tier removes the need for large investments in a separate Business Intelligence solution.
